Hello World!

So... How will I start! In English? Let’s have a try!

If anybody reads this text who actually find it hard, because of grammar and many other mistakes, please fu%& off.

Nice words on the beginning, aren't they? ;) I'm trying to write my experiences in sports right now in English.

Saturday morning I woke up a little bit tired but focused on what will be next on this day. The Weyregg MTB Marathon over 54 km and 1500hm. Similar to Salzkammergut Trophy track E nowadays. A few years ago I started my first marathon there and finished in 03:19:42, so the actual goal was to have a time under the 3 hours. I didn’t know the hills up and down on this track, but I thought of tough conditions during this marathon. On the start I met a guy who is amateur at road cycling and he told me of his plans this year. No man to compete with (for me). The first kilometers I tried to get into my comfortable scone and not to over pace. Until 30-35 Kilometers I had no problems with my pace, but some kind of starvation appears. Unfortunately this should not happen and I knew I’ve done my next mistake in nutrition during a MTB Race. It happens really quick having no power on the hills. There was no power for lifting up my bike too. Luckily a team member of USC Attersee West gave me some powergel to survive the last 15 km. Normally I like hard downhills but the last one was awful because of less power and a weak mind at the end. The last hill was short but my legs got cramps, therefore I had to wheel my bike a few meters. After leaving this hill behind I had only 4 km street, mostly downhill, to cross the finish line. Luckily I got a “true” Zipfer Märzen for my destroyed legs and mind.

Finished in 03:12:34 – I have to work hard this year and specially I have to focus on my nutrition.

Rock on.

Steve
